New Season, New Fruits!

Autumn is an exciting time for fresh produce and delicious snacks. The weather starts to cool down (well it’s supposed to anyway), the fruits begin to ripen and the rains will trigger produce to sprout!

If you’re a massive fruit lover, you’re definitely in luck! There are so many amazing fruits in season, from apples, melons, tomatoes, nuts, figs, olives to a whole lot more!

There’s no doubt that it can get a bit overwhelming walking down the aisles of Peaches with so many delicious options! So we’ve decided to help you out! Our team has come together to bring you our top five fruit picks of the month so you can really get into the autumn spirit

1. Apples

No fruit basket is complete without some deliciously crisp apples! Apples are at their best with harvest starting in mid to late summer for royal galas and finishing in May with sundowners. Take advantage of these amazing apples, and try this recipe for apple pie! You can’t go wrong with it!

2. Pears

Versatile and tasty, nothing says autumn like pears! During this season, pears are peaking with a variety of flavoursome options! 4. Persimmons

Simply divine! Persimmons are in season from February to late June so you still have plenty of time to stock up! When buying them, make sure to handle them carefully and choose the firm ones with a bright coloured skin!
